In continuation of my desyatoh No.136

of July 28th, I have the honour to rewri

further on the Shameen strike and its ron-

clusion. I muld again express my regret

for the delay in fərwarding this report,

which is due however to pressure of work

during and after the strike, and to the

onfusion into which the usas of papers

dealing therewith had in consequence m-

avoidably fallen.

As foreshadowed in my last despatch,

a complete agrement was reached through

the medium of Ir. Bugene Then, and a

statement of mutually acceptable taIME WAS

draw up on July 30th. It was arranged that

the Thameer maployees were to return to

work on July 31st, but this agrement was
